The event will provide a comprehensive exploration of the challenges and opportunities related to the use of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in the plastic industry, along with the growing concerns about their environmental impacts. Various sectors of the plastic industry heavily rely on fluoropolymers and other PFAS, spanning extrusion products, injection molding products, automotive and aerospace, medical, building and construction, electric and electronic, textile, and more. The regulatory landscape surrounding these substances will be examined, and the potential technical and economic consequences of implementing bans will be discussed.
